Obituary – Thomas Wakefield Jr.

Thomas Wakefield, Jr., age 85, of Lewisburg, Tennessee, passed away Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at his home with his loving wife and family by his side.
He was born July 31, 1939, in Marshall County, Tennessee, to the late Thomas and Lucille Pigg Wakefield. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers Alfred, Walter and Larimore Wakefield and a sister Margie Walker.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Carol Rhiner Wakefield; daughters Teresa Neese, Paulette Ewing, and Chantel Winnett (Dee) all of Lewisburg; granddaughter Danielle Hopper, three great grandchildren, Dana Flowers, Adam Hopper, and Kathryn Hopper; great great grandson Gentry Cove Flowers.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, June 6, 2025, from 4:00-8:00 pm at the Tennessee Walking Horse Breeders' and Exhibitors' Association, 250 N Ellington Pkwy, Lewisburg, TN.
London Funeral Home and Crematory is honored to assist the family with arrangements.
