Luanne J. Sigman, age 80, of Canal Winchester, Ohio, passed away at her home on Monday, September 15, 2026, with her family by her side. She was born in Columbus, Ohio, on June 11, 1946, to the late Louis and Anne (Stockwell) Jones.
Luanne was a 1964 graduate of North High School. Following high school, she worked as the office manager for Central Ohio Contractors for 37 years, in which she retired from. In 1966, she met and married her husband, Robert, beginning a beautiful 60-year marriage filled with love, family, and cherished memories. Together, they raised three children, who remained among Luanne’s greatest joys and accomplishments.
Luanne had a lifelong love of horses and was a proud member of the Ohio Valley Walking Horse Association, where she earned the 15.2 & Under Amateur High Point Champion Platinum 33 title. Luanne and Bob owned the 2003 World Grand Champion Tennessee Walking Horse, Whole “9” yards. She also had a deep appreciation for the great outdoors and found happiness in her birds, flowers, and the warmth of the sunshine.
Above all, Luanne treasured her family. Her children and grandchildren brought her immense joy, filling her home with laughter and creating memories that will be cherished for generations to come.
She is survived by her loving husband, Robert Sigman; children, Robert Sigman, Shane Sigman, and Debbie Sigman; grandchildren, Heather, Eric, Skylar, Laykin, and Brady; and great-grandchildren, Tyler, Brooklyn, Wesley, Paisley, and Kinsley.
Visitation will be held Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Dwayne R. Spence Funeral Home, 650 W. Waterloo St., Canal Winchester, Ohio 43110. A burial to follow at Franklin Hills Memory Garden.
